The Carolinas Chapter of the Class of '71

met for its 3rd Annual Luncheon in Morganton, NC on September 12, 2024.

1st Row: Helen Rosa Monaghan Read, Morganton; Jack Porterfield, Winston-Salem; Jim Lester, Indian Land, SC;  2nd Row: David Anderson, Durham; Teague Willson Delmas, Landrum, SC & Foley, AL; John Compton, Durham; and Craig Mallick, Sapphire, NC. 

While some of us may not have known each other that well back in the day, these reunions have become a cherished event for this group of Spartan "expats."  We've had fun comparing notes about our high school experiences and memories, the things that have been meaningful in our lives since then, and the ties that we still have to Birmingham.  BTW, the two women are the ones that are still working. Helen Rosa is a CPA and Teague is a Pilates instructor.

The 50th Reunion is in the Books!
